Open enrollment is rapidly approaching and is the one time of year when you can add or switch your health insurance coverage. In previous years, open enrollment ran from November 1 – January 31. However new for this year, open enrollment runs from November 1 to December 15, with coverage beginning January 1, 2018.
If you don’t enroll by December 15, 2017, you can’t enroll in a health insurance plan for 2018 unless you qualify for a Special Election Period.
